Emmerdale is planning a landmark flashback episode later this month which will take viewers back to Charity Dingle’s tortured teenage years which saw her fall victim to the abuse of corrupt policeman DI Bails. 

Viewers have already had an insight into what Charity went through as she has spoken to Vanessa Woodfield about working on the streets and then being groomed by Bails, who subsequently abused her sexually, violently and emotionally.
