Terry Crews Accuses Talent Manager Adam Venit Of Sexual Assault: ‘I Was Horrified’

Terry Crews has named talent manager Adam Venit as his alleged abuser in his horrific sexual assault incident. The NFL star turned actor spoke to GMA host Michael Strahan about the occurrence, comparing the situation to “dealing with a terrorist” and finally breaking “free.”

“Back in February 2016 I was assaulted by Adam Venit who is the head of the motion picture department at William Morris Endeavor, one of the biggest agencies in the world,” claimed Crews, 49.

Recounting the time Venit allegedly assaulted him, the actor continued: “My wife and I were at an event with Adam Sandler… [Venit is] also Adam Sandler‘s agent, he’s Sylvester Stallone‘s agent, he’s Eddie Murphy‘s agent and you know he’s connected to probably everyone I know in the business.” He then added that while he knew about the talent manager, he had never had a conversation with him until that day.

“I’m looking at him and he’s basically staring at me and he’s sticking his tongue out and… just overtly sexual kind of tongue moves… it’s a party, it’s packed and I’m looking at him like ‘is this a joke?’ like I don’t understand, it was actually so bizarre,” Cres said of Venit’s alleged actions at the event.

Added the star: “He comes over to me and I stick my hand out and he literally takes his hand and puts it and squeezes my genitals.”

Crews then told Strahan that he jumped back in shock, screaming to Venit: “Dude, what are you doing?” but the talent manager kept coming back to do it again. “He did it several times… then I really got forceful. I push him back… and then he starts giggling and laughing!” claimed Crews.

He said that he told pal Adam Sandler about what his agent had just done and he was just as confused as Crews.

“He didn’t understand. It was bizarre to both of us.”

After recounting the story of his sexual assault incident, Crews told Strahan that his wife was the one who convinced him to stay calm and not “punch a hole in [Venit’s] head.” He added that he’s glad he followed her advice, because if he had reacted with violence, no one would have believed him, and he would be in jail right now.

He told Strahan that sexual assault in Hollywood comes down to an “abuse of power” and that he certainly understood why so many women waited years to speak out.

“When a person of power breaks that boundary, violates that boundary, you’re a prisoner of war, immediately you’re in a camp, cause you’re trying to figure out when is the right time to come out,” he said. “I let it go… I put it in the back of my head and I understood why women everywhere had to let it go.”

Now, however, Crews is ready to take legal action. “People must be held accountable,” for their actions, he told the show host.

As Radar previously reported, Crews wrote a string of tweets after the Harvey Weinstein scandal came to light, telling fans he had “PTSD” because something similar had happened to him.

“I will not be shamed,” said Crews on GMA. “I did nothing wrong. Why don’t you ask him? Why isn’t Adam Venit sitting here right now, explaining himself?”
